Praises be to Almighty Allah, the cherisher and sustainer, who defines us our body and figure. May peace be upon Mohamed sallahllah alaihi wassalam, the seal of prophets, who taught us the right ways in eating and maintaining our daily activities. My prayers are also for his companions. Respected judges, distinguished principals, teachers, parents and my dear friends. Assalaam Alaikum Today I stand before you to share a few views of mine about exercise for a healthy life.
I will start my speech with this famous quote ‘Early to bed, Early to rise, Makes a man, Healthy wealthy and wise” Yes, eating good food, sleeping well and doing routine exercise makes us healthy and happy people. As we all know nutritious food and good exercises are the two main factors which account for a healthy life. From these, good exercise is vital to stay fit and ACTIVE. Adopting a regular exercise routine is also very important in maintaining the health of your muscles, bones and bodily organs. Today I am going to highlight the 6 main benefits we get from exercising.
Firstly exercise controls weight. Performing exercises such as running, jumping or stretching on a daily basis helps us to reduce the chance of becoming overweight. When you engage in physical activity, you burn calories. Even if you can’t do an actual workout, get more active throughout the day in simple ways — by taking the stairs instead of the elevator or revving up your household chores. Secondly exercise combats health conditions and diseases. Are you worried about heart disease? OR hoping to prevent high blood pressure?
No matter what your current weight, being active boosts high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or “good,” cholesterol and decreases unhealthy triglycerides. This keeps your blood flowing smoothly, which decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases. In the modern days lots and lots of people depend on fast foods at work and even school children use it for intervals. When these fast foods are eaten regularly the fats in it get collected inside our body in the form of cholesterol. This cholesterol makes our body prone to heart diseases such as strokes and even heart attacks.
The only way to get rid of this excess cholesterol is through regular exercises. Next is exercise improves mood. If we take a look at our classrooms it is easy to identify the difference between children who exercises and who does not. This is because lack of exercise is likely to make you lazy, moody and decreases the brain power. Studies show that active children are likely to have better memory and are able to concentrate better even after a long school day Exercise boosts energy. Regular physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance.
Exercise and physical activity deliver oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and help your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. And when your heart and lungs work more efficiently, you have more energy to go about your daily chores. In addition exercise promotes better sleep. Are you struggling to fall asleep? Or to stay asleep? Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and deepen your sleep Last but not least exercise can be fun- Exercise and physical activity can be a fun way to spend some time. It gives you a chance to unwind, enjoy the outdoors or simply engage in activities that make you happy.
Physical activity can also help you connect with family or friends in a fun social setting Overall exercise provides us with uncountable benefits which can help us to be successful throughout our lives. A good Health is an amazing gift given by our creator, Allah Subuhaanahu wata aala. So it’s our duty to maintain it by doing exercises daily at least 30 mins. So my colleagues if you really want to be successful in your studies and sports I can assure you that good exercise is the key to it. Thank You and Hope you found my speech motivating. Wassalaam Alaikum
